Brilliant hunting is one of the favorite classes of many coaches, especially in the last Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
Shiny Pokémon is essentially color variations of standard Pokémon.
If you’re lucky, you can catch these Pokémon in the wild.
However, this does not apply to all Pokémon, since some of them can be found as shiny only in other ways.
Character is one of these Pokémon, since you cannot find him in the wild, and the only Harvard you can find cannot be brilliant.
However, the fact that you cannot acquire a brilliant character in the wild does not mean that you cannot have it at all.

How to get a brilliant character at Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?
Trainers can get their own brilliant character by breeding.
You cannot meet a brilliant Harvard during raid battles, but you can cross it from Ditto for Character.
We recommend that you use a foreign Ditto to maximize your chances of a brilliant Character.
This method of breeding brilliant Pokémon is also known as the Mason method.
It is important to note that if you use a 7-star Harvard, Character, whom you will breed from it, will not have a type of there, nature or label that Cherished has.
