This project is an interview with the developer of the new indie game that you are interested in. This time, we will deliver a mini-interlock to the developers My Lovely Wife , a sacrificial alchemy simulation released on June 8 for PC/switch, developers, My Lovely Wife released on June 8 for PC/switch.

This work is a alchemy simulation that includes love and management elements. — First, please introduce yourself. What is your favorite game?

Riris Marpaung (RIRIS) Hello, this is Riris Marpaung of Gamechanger Studio. In our latest work, this work is almost everything as a producer. My favorite game is Plant vs. Zombie, and I like the system that I can easily understand and the difficulty gradually increasing. You can keep playing for hours (laughs).

――Why did this work developed?

RIRIS The development of this work began about one or two months after the release of My Lovely Daughter on Steam, or one or two months after My Lovely Daughter was released on the switch. We wanted to increase the innovation, while keeping the deep-minded story of My Lovely Daughter.

Due to the influence of other projects, the launch of this work took a long time. In the middle of 2020, the art style of this work was renewed, and a major change was made to game play and story. I was able to find a partner to increase the number of development members and complete this work. In the early 2021, he also signed a public contract with Neon Doctrine. In addition, we decided to realize our vision by jointly developing with Toge Productions, which helped with My Lovely Daughter.

―― Please tell me the characteristics of this work.

RIRIS This work is a story-led game, combining a genre of love simulation and resource management. This allows you to have a unique experience that is hard to see in other games. And this unique experience is more exciting, combined with twisted stories, beautiful art, and eerie music.

The story of this work depicts poisonous relationships. When we love someone, we tend to ignore it, even if we are in an unhealthy situation. I’m glad if the players’ emotions are shaken not only for the characters in this work but also for their own actions.

――What kind of person do you want this work to play?

I want people who like the RIRIS story-led game to play. This work will definitely be a unique and shaken experience compared to other similar games. Players try to sacrifice everything and revive what they love.

— Is there any work influenced by this work?

RIRIS The foundation of this work is influenced by Indonesian folk tales, Jaka Tarub & The 7 Nymphs. However, as the development progressed, this work was far from here and became an original story. The reason for the change is that we focused on the theme of poisonous relationships. At present, what is drawn in this work is what we envisioned.

――What had an impact on the development of the new Coronavirus?

RIRIS Yes, the development of this work was influenced by the new Corona. Several development members had a new Corona, so they had to stop the development work for about a month. It was not the best trial that I couldn’t work because I was sick, and it was the hardest to establish how everyone could work safely and securely.

――Is it okay to distribute or monetize this work?
