Candy is one of the limited currencies you will collect at the Festival of the Lost 2020 event in Destiny 2. They appear on the floor in the form of small blue dots after you kill an enemy. They can appear everywhere in the game, but you must make sure that you wear your Festival of the Lost mask to collect them.
Without the festival of the mask as a helmet, none of the candies appear during the event. You can receive your first mask by talking to Eva in front of the tower, at its usual location in the center. Talking also start the quest to unlock the forest and improve your mask to become as powerful as your standard helmet. The Festival of the Lost mask requires a lot of candy so that you can convert a powerful headset and give it a new level of light.
The collection of candies is one of the main attractions of this year, just like the collection of strange chocolate parts. Both are available for limited time, and both, the candies are much easier to acquire. You will use it more often to access new sparrows, ghosts and smaller objects, such as the mystery bag. Unlike Chocolate Strang Candy, you can not earn candies by killing enemies while wearing a festival of the Lost helmet or ending the haunted forest.
Make sure to finish the haunted forest quest to access it and gain bunch of candy by progressing with your friends.
